Thanks to Dawn and Kato for an engaging professional development workshop that matters to teachers - Youth Mental Health First Aid. Even with the virtual format, teachers gained practical information about how to identify students in need and what language to use to best connect students to resources when they're most vulnerable. The presenters worked effectively with us because they are current high school faculty who serve students on a daily basis and understand what teenagers need and what teachers want from a professional development training."
